We’re Stephen Bole and Matt Kwon, two former student-athletes turned brand-builders. We met at Oglethorpe University, where we both studied communications and public relations, and spent our time juggling classes with college sports - lacrosse for Matt, soccer for Stephen. That competitive mindset, drive to improve, and team-first mentality stuck with us, and now fuels the work we do every day.
After gaining experience in marketing, social media strategy, and content creation, we saw a gap: too many small businesses were overlooked by large agencies or stuck trying to DIY their marketing. So we started 85 North Marketing to offer smart, tailored strategies built for real world growth, not just clicks and buzzwords.
